The Dance Club members actively involved themselves by engaging every Tuesdays after school hours and working Saturdays, with the dance instructors and the teacher-incharges. The Dance Club made a surprising exposure trip to Dimapur. The objective of the trip was to let the students experience how it is to dance in a real life dancing studio. The trip was also made in order to develop the skill of socializing with each other and broadening their concept of what they define/see dancing as.
With the blessings invoked by the Chairman, Mr. Pheluopfelie Kesiezie, the team with 2 teacher incharges, moved on with the trip. Reaching Dimapur City we were warmly welcomed by the host and were treated with light refreshment. The Dance Club visited two dance studios i.e. Petros Dance Studio and Oracle Montessori School. The dancers had a great experience by dancing in the real studio for the first time. The juniors and the seniors took turns in practicing and couldn’t contend their excitement. The day couldn’t have ended on a good note without a wonderful and fun froclicking photo session. Indeed it was an exposure trip that proved to be a fruitful one, with so much of cherishable memories to linger on.
The Dance Club would like to thank the school authority and parents for their constant support and trust in making this trip a successful one.
Ms. Sentirenla, Teacher Incharge, Dance Club.
